A branch took up residence in Lesaca and from it was Joaquín María de Rivas y Yanci, born in Andoain (Guipúzcoa) in 1778, and entered the Royal Company of Marine Guards in 1798.
Pedro de Yanci proved his nobility before the ordinary Justice of the town of Irún (Guipúzcoa), in 1672, and Diego and Domingo de Yanci, before the Justice of Lezo and Pasajes (Guipúzcoa), in 1706.
